Aluminium Conductor Carbon Fiber Reinforced (ACFR) Conductor consists of a stranded carbon fiber core which is wrapped with trapezoidal / round shaped aluminium / STAL strands.ACFR (Aluminum Conductor Carbon Fiber Reinforced) that has a special CFCC(Carbon Fiber Composite Cable) core, rather than the conventional steel core, ACFR is the best efficient solution among HTLS overhead conductors.
Now CFCC is used as the core of innovated high performance conductor called Aluminum Carbon Fiber Reinforced ( ACFR ). The electrical demand of the world has been increasing rapidly and ACFR will provide the best solution offering twice the ampacity with lesser sag and lower temperature compared with conventional conductors
To achieve higher conductivity, it is recommended to use trapezoidal shape annealed aluminum wire for ACFR.
