ACSR Conductor Cable
This product is a discount promotional item in Salvador and South America. ACSR is a composite concentric-lay-stranded conductor. Galvanized steel strand or strands form the central core of the conductor, around which is stranded one or more layers of EC Grade Aluminum wires. The steel core may consist of a single strand or a concentric stranded cable of 7, 19, 37, or more wires. Numerous combinations of aluminum and steel strands and layers are possible.
|
Construction:
ACSR is concentrically stranded conductor with one or more layers of Aluminium wire hard-drawn 1350-H16 on the galvanized steel wire core. The core may be single wire or stranded depending on the size. Steel wire is available in Class A or B galvanization as corrosion protection.
ACSR is according to electrical and mechanical strength requirements of transmission or distribution lines, can provides an appropriate design combining the quantity of Aluminium and galvanized steel wires.
Application:
ACSR conductor(Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced) are suitable for use in all practical spans on wood poles, transmission towers, and other structures. Application range from extra high voltage(EHV) transmission lines to
sub-service spans at distribution or utilization voltages on private premmises.
ACSR conductor has a long service record because of its economy ,dependability, and strength to weight ratio. The combined light weight and high conductivity of aluminum with strength of the steel cores enable higher
tensions, less sag, and longer spans than any alternative.
